For the launch of their first premium smartphone, the LG G Pro in India, LG commissioned NDTV’s digital division to create a series of 30 Vines and 10 Instagram videos to generate social media buzz around the phone. The Vine's developed around the features of the G Pro smartphone, incorporated animations, social issues and traditional Indian art forms. The campaign, with the hashtag #ImaginationBegins, gained massive traction on Twitter and other social networks during its launch. The team also delivered to LG important marketing insights around the performance of their overall campaign through the use of Social Media listening tools and twitter analytics. These included G Pro features that were being talked about the most, certain phone specifications that needed to be highlighted more offline/online etc.
