Ekushey TV, ETV as it is popularly called, is the first private terrestrial channel in Bangladesh, eventually becoming a satellite channel. The content is a mix of entertainment and news in Bangla, the national language. ETV is also the only channel to have a business specific news band from 10 am to 2:30pm, during the trading hours in the stock market.
NDTV was involved in the complete revamp of the business programming for ETV in Dhaka. The engagement included training of its editorial staff, conceptualizing content for business news, training of the production crew, graphics design, including data integration with the live data feed from the Dhaka Stock Exchange
Post training the ETV team felt their business programming was up to international standards.

The target audience (business and investor community) gave the channel rave reviews. The Bangladeshi viewers can now see ‘Live’ stock prices during DSE trading hours.
Post the launch of the new look and introduction of interactive programming ETV business desk started receiving hundreds of phone calls and emails on a daily basis from viewers appreciating the new look and content.
There was active viewer engagement with the channel also as viewers started sending in stock queries.
Developed a reputation for providing current stock market news and incisive discussions on business related issues.
The channel is a clear leader in the business news space and has been setting editorial and production standards for the Bangladesh TV news market
