NDTV Worldwide was tasked with designing and installing technology for ITV in Dhaka. This was to be in line with ITV’s vision for having the most advanced, efficient workflows giving it an advantage over the competition and introducing new ways of working in the Bangladesh news market.

Overview

NDTV WW’s Solution:

Consistent with NDTV’s fast workflows for its own news channels, tapeless acquisition was proposed with DVCAM as the station format with the recording media being SxS cards. The facility is architectured around Avid iNEWS and Interplay. The news automation is managed by Omnibus Columbus. The studios were fitted with the largest video wall in Bangladesh - a Barco DLP wall of size 6x2. On-line graphics systems were from VizRT.
